If you’ve ever walked out of a weekly couples therapy session wishing you had just a little more time—you’re not alone. Sometimes 50 minutes isn’t enough to get to the heart of what’s going on, especially when you’re in a season of stress, disconnection, or crisis.
That’s where Couples Therapy Intensives come in.
A couples intensive is exactly what it sounds like: an extended therapy session (either 3 or 6 hours long, with built-in breaks) that gives you and your partner dedicated time and space to focus deeply on your relationship.
Unlike weekly sessions that may take a while to build momentum, intensives allow us to dive right into the patterns, pain points, and communication breakdowns that are keeping you stuck. Whether you’re working through ongoing conflict, healing from a rupture, or simply want to reconnect—this format can help you shift gears and begin moving forward with intention.
You can schedule your intensive over one or two days, depending on what feels best for you. Many couples find this structure especially helpful when they’re in a place of urgency or when weekly sessions just aren’t enough.
I often receive inquiries from couples located out of state who would love to work together. Due to licensing regulations, I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically located in Florida at the time of our sessions. If you’re planning a trip to Florida in the coming months, we can absolutely coordinate to schedule a couples intensive during your stay.
Think of it as a destination for both restoration and reconnection.

Relationships are complex, layered, and ever-evolving—and sometimes they need more than a weekly 50-minute session to heal, grow, or reset. If you’re craving more space, clarity, or momentum in your relationship, a Couples Therapy Intensive might be just what you need.
